quilting Club Overview

Members gather to sew on quilt tops, or quilt their quilts.  There are many patterns (easy to complex) and fabrics (subdued to colorful).  Many quilts are made for charities and we have many fabrics available for members to use on our charity quilts.  We have a longarm available for trained members to use to quilt their quilts.

Many classes are taught by members, and these are free to the members.  If we bring in a teacher, a fee is charged to cover the cost.

Open studio time is available on Tuesdays in the Fiber Arts Room, although if the room isn’t being used by another group, quilters can often be found in the room.  Our meetings are on the second Monday of the month and the location varies.
