Overview

The project began in July 2021 with a small group of club members who analyzed and developed a business case to increase the footprint of the Creative Arts Center. 

We surveyed club presidents and members, compared PebbleCreek to other Robson communities, and conducted site visits to seven local 55+ communities. What we saw made us feel good about many of the things we have in PebbleCreek, but we also saw room for improvement. 

Clubs also told us they need more space or couldn’t offer the types of classes their membership wanted. Memberships increased as artists returned post Co-VID, and we added members who recently moved to PebbleCreek. A building built in 2006 for 600 artists had now grown to 1200 members. The facts are that we have outgrown our existing facilities.
