Pottery Club Overview

The Pottery & Sculpture club offers a variety of classes and workshops focusing on

skills of hand building and sculpting clay using a studio equipped with all the

necessary equipment and making the most of in-house and outside instructors.

Beginner's pottery – taught by a professional and experienced instructor, students learn

the basic characteristics and skills for hand building basic forms; Funday Sunday

Workshops – newer members will work with experienced members to further develop

skills and create fun projects; Fiber clay classes - taught by 2 professional artists and

teachers, students will learn sculpting with fiber clay.

Coming soon – Intermediate and Advanced Hand Building Classes

Open studio time is available in the Gecko Room Monday thru Saturday. Members may

check out a key in the CAC Gallery to work in the studio on Sunday.

When classes are in session, a limited number of members may work quietly on their

projects respecting the instructor/student learning environment.
