fused glass club Overview
Description
Fused glass is heat-processed in a kiln at high temperature to achieve
different goals. By adjusting the temperatures and various hold times one can
achieve various depth, relief and often unexpected shapes as the glass
expresses its own will. When you join the club and go through the beginning
fused glass class, you will experience the wonder of creating beautiful pieces
of glass household items or beautiful pieces of art for display.
Classes Offered
The club sponsors at least three Beginning Fused Glass classes a year. In
addition, we offer mentor sessions to our members and training sessions on
our club-owned equipment. We also offer other more advanced classes
on different techniques that members are interested in exploring to
expand their expertise.
Studio Hours
Open studio time is available Monday through Saturday in the Roadrunner Studio unless a class is scheduled.
